TERMS & CONDITIONS
By submitting this application:
- I declared that I have familiarized myself with the course structure and fee payment details as stated in the Institute’s website, digital media info, brochures/flyers, electronic direct mailers (EDM) and/or course preview presentation.
- I declared that to the best of my knowledge and belief the information given by me to the foregoing questions and all statements made by me in this application are correct. If there is any false declaration made in this application, HMI Institute of Health Sciences has the absolute right to terminate me from the course without assigning any reasons.
- I agreed to HMI Institute of Health Sciences’ (“HMI Institute”) Refund Policy as follows:
3.1 Refund for Withdrawal Due to Non-Delivery of Course:
Under the following circumstances, HMI Institute will notify me before the Course Commencement Date or upon knowledge of it immediately:
- It does not commence the Course on the Course Commencement Date;
- It terminates the Course before the Course Commencement Date;
- It does not complete the Course by the Course Completion Date;
- It terminates the Course before the Course Completion Date
I should be informed in writing of alternative study arrangements (if any), and also be entitled to a refund of the entire Course Fees already paid should I decided to withdraw from the course.
3.2 Refund for Withdrawal Due to Other Reasons:
If I withdraw from the Course for any reason other than those stated above in clause 3.1, HMI Institute will:
- For Short Courses -- within thirty (30) days of receiving my written notice of withdrawal, refund to me an amount based on the Refund Policy table (1) as shown below.
- For SCTP & Full Qualifications Courses -- within seven (7) working days of receiving my written notice of withdrawal, refund to me an amount based on the Refund Policy table (2) as shown below.

Any request for a refund of course fees paid before / after course commencement shall be subject to the refund policy:

The above refund policy also applies to company-sponsored students.
All refunds shall be made:
- within seven (7) working days from receipt of the student’s request for SCTP & Full Qualifications Courses.
- within fourteen (14) working days from receipt of the student’s request for Short Courses.
Refunds for Withdrawal with Cause
HMI Institute shall inform the student immediately within three (3) working days if:
- It fails, for any reason, to commence course on the course commencement date;
- It terminates the course, for any reason, prior to the course commencement date;
- It fails, for any reason, to complete the course by the course completion date;
- It terminates the course, for any reason, prior to course completion date; or
- It has not ensured that the student meets the course entry requirement as set by the organisation stated in Schedule A (course details of the Standard PEI-Student Contract) within any stipulated timeline set by CPE
HMI Institute shall, within seven (7) working days of notifying the student in writing of above circumstances (a) to (e), provide the student with information and details of an alternative confirmed course arrangement to allow the student to make a timely and appropriate decision on the alternative arrangement. Students shall be entitled to immediately withdraw from the course by giving written notice to HMI Institute of his/her intention to do so.
For circumstances under “Refund for Withdrawal with Cause”, HMI Institute shall refund to the student the entire amount of the fees that he/she has paid according to the Institute’s Refund Policy.
Consent for Marketing
- I agree that HMI Institute of Health Sciences Pte. Ltd., Health Management International Pte. Ltd. (“HMI”) and its group of companies (“HMI Medical”) may collect, use, disclose, retain or otherwise process my personal data which I have provided in this form, for the purposes of providing me with marketing, advertising and promotional material in accordance with this form, the Personal Data Protection Acts of Singapore (2012) and Malaysia (2010) respectively, and your Data Protection Policy.
- I also consent to you disclosing my personal data to third-party service providers and their representatives for them to process my personal data for such purposes.
- I understand that I may access and correct my personal data, or withdraw my consent at any time, by submitting a request via the channels listed in your Data Protection Policy.
