This course enables the learner to communicate effectively in providing patient-centred basic nursing patient care including respiratory, nutritional needs, assist in mobility and ambulation adhering to infection control safety measures and applying legal/ethical practices. The specialisation course will enable learners to institute immediate emergency care at pre-hospital care setting, perform prehospital assessment, airway management and transfer, and to assist in medication administration.
Learn the skills and knowledge of patient care to assist nurses with patients’ needs as well as an Emergency Medical Technician in an Emergency and Non-Emergency Ambulances.
